Technical products we develop are most often designed to serve a specific use or particular weather conditions, sometimes extreme ones.

This is the result of a collaboration with Dupont Sorona.
These are the warmest and most protective jackets, in terms of thermal insulation in our collection.

Here they are:

Most of the time, if you hear talking about insulation and warmth, you think about animal products/down, don’t you? It would be normal.

After all, using goose and duck down for insulation has been a standard for years and still is popular in the outdoor industry, even nowadays.

There is nothing to argue about the high performance and comfort of down. The debate is rather on the animal care perspective, because live plucking and other barbaric practice are still too common and cause severe injuries and terror, without any kind of pain relief for the animals.

At Picture, we decided to find alternative matters. That is why our warmest jackets are insulated with a synthetic down called Dupont Sorona.

Sorona is a polyester microfiber made of 37% plant-based component (corn glucose).
It is soft next to the skin, quick drying and moisture wicking, so it is a durable and responsible alternative to animal down.

It is a radical choice and we take pride in tackling this issue.

Don’t let me down.
