Hugo HOFF
What does being part of the Picture Family represent to you?
It is to be surrounded by friends and riders who each bring their own vision of the world in their own way. It is also an honour to be surrounded by all those people who are the best in their field.
Tell us, how did you start skiing?
I started by downhill skiing but I always did freeride outside of training. As soon as there was powder, we went off track even with my coaches ! When I was 16 I decided to join the Freeski Academy and after a great first year on the junior freeride tour I thought I had skills in this discipline and I set up an organization that allowed me to continue freeriding in competition.
What are your future plans and ambitions?
First of all, my ambition is to integrate the freeride world tour and to make beautiful performances in this circuit. Then it is to realize video projects linking several disciplines ! I see myself eventually getting into video more than competition, but I have a long way to go before I get there.
What are your best skiing memories?
My best memory is perhaps the downhill of Bellecote, almost 2km of altitude, with 40 of powder and totally virgin. But it’s probably to see my film screened at the cinema and everything that goes with.
